The Impact of Technology on Shaping the Internet Language
The excessive use of technology or the internet has resulted in considerable changes in the way people use English in everyday. As a result, people may inquire about how technology has altered how they communicate and write, both online and offline. The focus of this blog will be on the changes that have occurred in Internet users' language style. Keeping in mind the fact of the Internet is a network built on the English language, its users encounter significant challenges online due to cultural differences.
Technology can be one of the ways to create real and enjoyable atmosphere for young language learners and increase their language awareness when it is used correctly. Nowadays technology also moves incredibly swiftly, rendering new words faster than ever. This way of interacting help learners to develop thinking skills, promotes learners’ autonomy and helps them feel more confident to be creative in making new forms freely.
The abbreviated language and slang terms often used with mobile phone text messaging, email, and instant messaging are known as SMS lingo or internet acronyms (online chat applications). These communications use a lot of acronyms and don't utilize formal English. Because texts are designed to be instantaneous, abbreviations are thought to be easier and faster than complete forms. As a result, acronyms are so common that they often stand for new full forms of words. Many common abbreviations found in everyday internet usage.

Therefore, the fast interactions on social media has changed our communication habits to easier and entertaining way. The users can't be faulted for writing in shortened forms since they've modified their language style to fit inside the internet world.
